Instant UV-LED curing means graphics are ready for finishing, laminating, or delivery immediately after printing—eliminating traditional drying time and helping jobs move through production faster. Because the UJV200 does not require the high curing temperatures used by latex printers, it can print on a wider selection of materials, including heat-sensitive media, while consuming less power.
Mimaki’s Variable Dot Technology produces smooth gradients, attractive skin tones, rich solid colors, and sharp fine details using droplets as small as 4 picoliters. Automated media and dot-position adjustment with DAS2 simplifies setup, reduces material waste, and helps operators maintain consistent print quality.
Available ink configurations include CMYK, white, and clear ELS-170 UV-curable inks. White ink expands the range of printable media and applications, while clear ink can be used to create premium gloss, matte, and textured effects. Stable multilayer printing also makes it possible to produce more sophisticated graphics without pulling the media backward between layers.
